WR Spotlight: Brandin Cooks

Yesterday, NFL released a mic’d up video of Los Angeles Rams young-gun head coach Sean McVay. During the video, he is seen gushing to the offensive coaching staff about newly acquired WR Brandin Cooks. Prior to being traded to Los Angeles this offseason, Cooks orchestrated three straight seasons with 1,000 plus yards and at least 7 touchdowns.

Cooks has proven that he can be productive regardless of the system, and should be widely viewed as a WR1 in all leagues. Our experts currently have him ranked 13th overall, but he can easily find himself in the top 10 and possibly even the top 5 with budding star QB Jared Goff and an offensive oriented head coach. Don’t be afraid to be bold and grab Cooks in the early second round as he will pay major dividends in 2018.
