FFL's Week 10 DFS Lineup

Week 10 of the 2018 season is upon us and with that comes Fantasy Football Live’s ninth DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) lineup! Each week we’ll release an optimal DFS team (PPR Scoring) for Sunday’s games, giving anyone having a poor fantasy season a chance at redemption. Our Week 10 lineup below was created on DraftKings with a $50,000 budget.

QB: Matt Ryan

Matchup: @ Cleveland Browns

Price: $6,200

Analysis: Playing against Cleveland has been rough for fantasy quarterbacks over the season, but Cleveland’s Defense has been weaker as of late. In 3 of the past 4 games the Browns have let up over 30 points, and the Falcons are set to take advantage of the Browns defense with plenty of offensive weapons. Ryan should be considered a top 5 QB this week.

RB: Melvin Gordon

Matchup: @ Oakland Raiders

Price: $9,000

Analysis: Melvin Gordon is by no means a bargain at this price, but it’s hard not to go with Gordon against one of the worst teams in the league. The Chargers should be up in most of this game which should give Gordon plenty of opportunities to make the most out of his carries. Gordon got over 20 touches in the last time these two faced off, and any time Gordon is getting that many opportunities, he rarely disappoints.

RB: Nick Chubb

Matchup: vs Atlanta Falcons

Price: $5,500

Analysis: This game script doesn’t look good for Nick Chubb, but the Browns made it clear last week that their offense is going to run through Chubb. He got the ball early and often in last week’s matchup against the Chiefs, getting 14 carries in just the first half. In a game that many predicted to favor a pass-heavy attack from the Browns, Chubb got 22 carries and finished with a productive statline. The Browns will attempt to establish the run in this game just like they did last week, so look for Chubb to have a productive day.

WR: Josh Gordon

Matchup: @ Tennessee Titans

Price: $6,000

Analysis: With Rob Gronkowski out again, Josh Gordon should share the bulk of work in the passing game with Julian Edelman. The Titans Defense has played pretty well this year, but the Patriots Offense has been on fire in recent weeks, scoring more than 30 points in 4 of their last 5 games. Gordon should be seen as Tom Brady’s best red zone threat with Gronk on the sideline, so expect Gordon to have a big day on Sunday.

WR: Calvin Ridley

Matchup: @ Cleveland Browns

Price: $5,900

Analysis: As mentioned before, the Falcons should have success in moving the ball down the field against a recently struggling Browns Defense. Calvin Ridley should benefit from an offense set to produce plenty of points, especially since potential defensive rookie of the year Denzel Ward will likely cover Julio Jones. Ridley is leading the Falcons in touchdown receptions on the year and don’t be surprised to see him add to that total.

WR: Maurice Harris

Matchup: @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Price: $3,900

Analysis: While you may have reservations of starting a player you’ve never heard of before, Maurice Harris has a real shot of turning in a big performance Sunday. With James Crowder out and Paul Richardson on IR, Harris has been getting plenty of opportunities as one of Alex Smith’s most reliable pass catchers. Last week Harris had double the receptions of all other players (10 catches for 124 yards), which is a good indication that Smith trusts Harris to make plays when needed, like this insane one-handed grab he made last season. Harris doesn’t need to do much to be worth his price at $3,900, but the expectation should be that he does a lot more since he’s going up against a reeling Tampa Bay secondary.

TE: O.J. Howard

Matchup: vs Washington Redskins

Price: $5,300

Analysis: His price shot up $1,000 since last week but sticking with O.J. Howard for the second week in a row seems like the right move here. Howard showed out last week with 50+ yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, O.J. Howard is the only TE in the league to finish with more than 50 yards in each full game he’s played. Howard should be seen as one of the most consistent options at the TE position, so make sure to have him in your lineup.

FLEX: Jalen Richard

Matchup: vs San Diego Chargers

Price: $4,800

Analysis: Jalen Richard is a bit of an odd play considering the little number of rushing attempts he gets, but he has been one of the Raiders’ best options in the passing game as of late. Richard has led the team in receiving in two of the last 3 games, so Richard is a legitimate DFS option considering the number of looks he gets in the passing game and the potential to make plays in the running game. In a game that the Raiders should be expected to lose, Richard should see much more time in the backfield that Doug Martin.

D/ST: New York Jets

Matchup: vs Buffalo Bills

Price: $3,400

Analysis: The Jets have a great matchup this week going against the Matt Barkley led Bills this week. This pick seems like a no-brainer, especially considering that the Jets play at home. The Jets should be a top 5 fantasy defense this week.
