Hail Mary: Week 11
Hail Mary is a play that most people won't even attempt. It is one of those last resort efforts to win. With this article, we would like to point out 4 players in which we expect to be x-factor players. Players that can do great any given week even if it’s just because of one play. These players are also each started in under 15% of leagues according to NFL.com. Here are the four big time players that could make a difference maker in your lineup this week:
RBs:
Gio Bernard:
Start Percentage: 6.5%
Matchup: Baltimore Ravens
Analysis: Bernard has had a rough season so far trying to deal with injuries since week 5. This divisional matchup is a crucial game for the Bengals and they need to do whatever they can to win. Although Joe Mixon will continue to be the primary ball-carrier, expect them to get Gio involved on passing situations and two minute drills. He should be in line to get around 60 yards and possibly a short receiving TD.
Jalen Richard:
Start Percentage: 2.4%
Matchup: Arizona Cardinals
Analysis: This week’s game between the Cardinals and the Raiders should be a good game between two under-performing teams. The Raiders should be more inclined to use Richard if they are playing from behind and with a great matchup against a team who allows the 3rd most points to opposing RBs. Richard should get over 80 total yards this week.
WRs:
Josh Reynolds:
Start Percentage: 3.3%
Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs
Analysis: Josh Reynolds has been upgraded significantly since the Rams lost Kupp. He is now the WR 3, but with how explosive that offense is Reynolds should still get his share of targets. This week’s matchup against the Chiefs should be one of the highest scoring games of the entire season. Expect Reynolds to have over 50 yards and a touchdown.
Adam Humphries:
Start Percentage: 1.6%
Matchup: New York Giants
Analysis: Adam Humphries has quietly taken back his role in the Buccaneers’ offense from sophomore WR Chris Godwin. After his breakout two TD week in week 9, Humphries came back with another 50 yard performance last week. Against a Giants’ team that has not shown a lot of promise all year, this game could potentially be a high scoring affair. Expect Humphries to get over 75 yards this week.
