For what Jacobs lacks in speed, he makes up for in power, burst and vision. He has the tools to be a bell-cow runner, but his lack of pass protection ability could keep him off the field on third downs early in his career. A young Frank Gore, Jacobs could easily handle 25-30 touches a game, churning consistent production due to power and burst. Jacobs was an ideal pick for the Raiders who got good value and addressed a need left by Lynch's departure.
